My Mission:
My mission is to build a community of Light where the Seekers, Leaders, and Architects of the New Paradigm can acquire the lineage tools required for them to lead their lives with abundant purpose & joy and contribute to the Great Work.
Certified through The Modern Mystery School International and operating within the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Light, Ascend to Joy is a place of esoteric study and advanced spiritual training, anchoring the Light in the Midwest and sharing the time-tested healing modalities, activations, initiations, and true mystery teachings from the ancient lineage of King Salomon.
Founded by Chris Elwart, as a certified and initiated Guide, Healer, Teacher, Shaman & Magus Hermeticus through the lineage within the Modern Mystery School, the Ascend to Joy is home to a dynamic support of light workers and leaders who share a united passion and commitment to creating a New World of Peace, Love, and Joy!

Through the power of Activation, Initiation, and Ascension found within the hallowed lineage of King Salomon, The Modern Mystery School provides the sincere seeker with access to the Hermetic teachings, deep healing sessions, metaphysical tools, and the path of initiation that will empower them to transform and expand into a state of truly knowing their eternal Divine nature and living their Purpose here on Earth.
The Modern Mystery School is the only lineage Mystery School currently open to the public. Upholding the integrity and purity of the lineage is of the utmost importance to the school, its lineage holders, and myself.
Ascend to Joy is certified through the Modern Mystery School to offer you the opportunity to experience the activations, initiations, healing modalities, and advanced spiritual teachings & trainings safeguarded for over 3,000 years in the Royal lineage of King Salomon the Wise.
The Third Order
There are currently 7 remaining lineage Mystery Schools on Earth and each bears at least one key holder, responsible for anchoring that lineage on the planet and tasked with the responsibility of upholding and protecting the integrity, power, and purity of the lineage and its mission.
Within this lineage, the main key holders are Founder Gudni Gudnason, Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon, and Sovereign Ipsissimus Hideto Nakagome. Together, they are known as the Third Order, and they administer and attend to maintaining the purity of the lineage of King Salomon and progressing the impact of the Modern Mystery School worldwide.
Founder Gudni Gudnason is recognized as the Founder of the Modern Mystery School for his great service of opening the doors of the lineage to the public in 1997. His journey of developing his tremendous gifts and realizing his purpose as a Leader and Hierophant began with the Golden Dawn in London until he was called by the Hierarchy of Light to open this lineage to the public in 1997. Until 2017, he was the sole key holder.
Sovereign Ipsissimus Hideto Nakagome was initiated into the lineage in 2000. Born into a pure Samurai family, as a former bodyguard for the Dalai Lama, he brings an amazing power, wisdom, and compassionate lightness to his mission of upholding this sacred lineage and cultivating its mission.
Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon was initiated into the lineage in 2004 and has been responsible for the exponential growth of the Modern Mystery School from 12 countries to over 55. He has dedicated his life to serving the world and empowering people from all walks of life to live Hermetically and know who they really are.

The Governing Ipsissimas
The individuals who have reached the pinnacle initiation of Ipsissimus, for their years of dedication, service, and mastery, are the leaders of their respective area of expertise.
As the Lineage of King Salomon has grown worldwide, the responsibility in holding the light also needs to grow. With this, there is also room for specificity. In 2022, the first Ipsissimas (the feminine of Ipsissimus) were initiated. Each of these women are the master or Ipsissimus of her respective area.
As pillars of the lineage, who have served in unmatched capacity, these specific keys of knowledge and power are held by the following women who are initiated into the lineage of King Salomon as Ipsissimus.

The Council of 12 Women
In 2017, in addition to the formation of the Third Order, the Council of 12 was also created, anchoring the Goddess Power in the present age of Divine Union. Uniting 12 High Initiate Women – 6 representatives from the East and 6 representatives from the West – The Council of 12 works directly with the Third Order, providing unanimous confirmation and implementation of direction received by the Third Order from the Hierarchy of Light. Theirs is a service only capable of being provided by the Divine Feminine to unite in Spirit with the Divine Masculine of the lineage holders in order to manifest the sacred mission of the Modern Mystery School and the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Light.
